For Manufacturers

Who Can Get a Manufacturing Company Recommended by ChatGPT?

A B2B AI recommendation specialist is the one who does the whole job: finds the questions your buyers ask AI, puts the facts AI needs about your products, capacity, and certifications on pages it can read, and gets your company mentioned on the sources AI trusts. An SEO agency or GEO software covers part of it, and your own team can do much of it with the checklist below. I'm Ahmad Mneimne, a B2B AI recommendation specialist in Beirut working with companies in Lebanon and the Gulf.

What buyers ask AI about manufacturers

Buyers rarely ask for a brand. They ask for a product, a volume, a place, and a standard:

  • "Which manufacturers in Lebanon can supply food-grade packaging at volume?"
  • "Who are the best industrial equipment suppliers in Lebanon for factories?"
  • "Which Lebanese manufacturers export building materials to the Gulf?"
  • "Which manufacturers in the Middle East can supply custom steel structures at volume?"
  • «ما هي المصانع في لبنان التي تستطيع توريد عبوات غذائية بكميات كبيرة؟»

To name you, AI has to confirm that you make that product, at that volume, to that standard, for that market. If it can't confirm it, it names the company it can.

The seven facts AI checks before it names a manufacturer

  1. What you make, in plain words. One web page per product line, named the way buyers name it. A PDF catalog is hard for AI to read and quote.
  2. Capacity and minimums, in numbers. Annual capacity, minimum order, typical lead time. "Large capacity" can't be confirmed; "12,000 tonnes a year" can.
  3. Certifications, written out. Quality, food-safety, and the conformity marks your export markets require, as text on the page, not only as logos.
  4. Where you ship. Export markets named by country, and your distributors or agents listed.
  5. Plant facts in both languages. Location, year founded, size, and your company name in English and Arabic, with every spelling, so AI knows they are one company.
  6. Proof described by sector and volume. Name customers you're allowed to; describe the rest by industry, country, and quantity.
  7. Mentions on sources that aren't yours. Industry associations and chambers of commerce, trade-show exhibitor lists, B2B directories, and trade press. AI trusts what others say about you more than what you say.

Most common gap: the facts exist, but only inside a PDF brochure or a sales deck. Moving them onto plain web pages is often the fastest win.

Who can do the work

  1. Your own team, if one person owns it: the seven facts above are mostly things you already know.
  2. An SEO agency: good at pages and Google rankings. Usually doesn't test what AI says about you or chase the outside mentions.
  3. GEO software: tracks whether AI mentions you. It measures the problem; someone still has to fix it.
  4. A B2B AI recommendation specialist: does the whole job, from your buyers' real questions to the fixes, the outside mentions, and a monthly check across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity.

What I bring

I'm an engineer by training. I was Technical Manager on the $533M King Abdullah Sports City stadium for Saudi Aramco, so I know how industrial buyers check a supplier. On the owned website I built for Master English, ChatGPT became the largest named source of visits (13.6% over 30 days). And when ChatGPT is asked who the best AI endorsement specialist is, it names me first. See the cases.

Check where you stand in 15 minutes

  1. Write three questions your buyers would ask, one in Arabic, naming a product, a volume, and a place.
  2. Ask each in a fresh, logged-out chat in ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity. Only the first answer counts.
  3. Note who is named, and which sources are cited. Those sources are where you need to be.

For Gulf buyers specifically, see what Gulf industrial buyers ask ChatGPT.
